Our 2021 Montepulciano from Texas' High Plains AVA is one of our perennial crowd pleasers. Notes of cocoa dusted berries and minty pipe tobacco pleasantly emanate from the glass. The medium body of the wine intermingles with rich flavors of anise, blackcurrant and roasted campfire marshmallows from the time aged in French and Hungarian oak barrels. It makes for an easy drinking, satisfying red that pairs well with hearty beef based dishes as well as simple taco Tuesday nights. Cheers!
