Composition: 95% Sauvignon Blanc 5% Viognier
Coming from the same vineyard as our previous Sauvignon Blanc, a kinder growing season has allowed for more balanced ripeness and body to be showcased in this stainless steel fermented wine. Deep straw with a hint of green in hue, honeydew melon, gooseberry, and kiwi aromas strike a balance between tropical and more traditional notes. Sur-lie aging and a dash of Viognier have married to create a crisp and inviting mouthfeel with a nice weight to the mid-palate that reveals green apple and pineapple notes with a subtle minerality. Clean and dry on the finish, it would make a perfect pairing with shellfish based dishes or on its own as a sipper.
